about

I needed a challenge: while my main focus will always be songwriting and free improvisation, I wanted to see if I could compose a "formal" piece to be performed by an ensemble, chamber group or perhaps even an orchestra. Little did I know it would take me over 3 years to complete and more than six years to get the recording to where I can present it to you today.

You'll hear a lot of Indian and Middle Eastern influences but my intention was to trey to capture the sound of a united world, thus "World Without Tears". Kind of highfalutin' as my grandma used to say, huh? Guilty as charged I guess but I'm still a dreamer.

Hopefully it can be as emotional and spiritual a journey for you as it was for me. A lot of long days, late nights and massive frustration but in the end worth every tear.
